Leupp Elementary School is proud to be the only Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) school located on the Diné (Navajo) Nation. We serve the communities of Leupp, Birdsprings, and Tolani Lake, providing a culturally rich and inclusive learning environment for students in preschool through 5th grade.
Nestled 45 miles northeast of Flagstaff, our school honors the land, language, and traditions of the Diné people while delivering high-quality instruction aligned with Arizona state standards. Our dedicated staff supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student through strong community connections, high expectations, and meaningful learning experiences.

Located approximately 45 miles northeast of Flagstaff on Reservation Route 15.
The school is on the right side of the road as you enter the community of Leupp.
How to Find Us
Driving Directions:

Take I-40 East to the Winona Road exit.

Turn left at the stop sign and cross the overpass.

Continue northwest for approximately 2 miles, and look for a small sign for Leupp.

Turn right and travel about 30 miles down the county road, which becomes Reservation Route 15.

As you approach the water tower in the distance, you’re almost there. The school will be on the right side of the road.
